ALPHA HYDROXY ACID (AHA)

Alpha Hydroxy Acid, also known as AHA, is a naturally derived chemical exfoliator that helps to dissolve the bonds between surface cells so that dead skin cells can be exfoliated away. AHAs are derived from natural sources including Sugar Cane, Citrus Acid as well as Lactic Acid. Safe for every day use.

In comparison to physical exfoliants, AHAs are gentler on the skin as well as on the environment. Exfoliation with AHAs can help to reduce fine lines, dark spots as well as improving your skin’s texture. Everyone’s skin has a natural process of cell turnover and using an exfoliant helps to remove the dead skin cells from the surface, revealing the new healthy layer underneath.
